Dr. Nicole Cammack is a leading canine nutrition researcher and the visionary founder of NorthPoint Pets & Company, Connecticut’s multi-award-winning independent pet retail and education hub. With her unique combination of advanced scientific training and entrepreneurial expertise, Dr. Cammack has established herself as a trusted authority in science-based pet nutrition and wellness.

Dr. Cammack earned her PhD in Comparative Biomedical Sciences from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, where her doctoral research focused on canine nutrition and urinary metabolomics. She also holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and completed undergraduate work in biological sciences and business, providing her with an interdisciplinary foundation that bridges rigorous scientific research with practical business applications.

Currently serving as a Post-Doctoral Scholar at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Cammack remains at the forefront of global canine health research while also contributing as an active researcher within the DogRisk research group at the University of Helsinki. Her expertise encompasses cutting-edge areas, including metabolomics, raw feeding protocols, food safety standards, and nutrition-based disease prevention.

With experience in pharmaceutical research and development, Dr. Cammack has built her career on challenging conventional industry practices and translating scientific discoveries into real-world solutions. Her specialized work with working dogs, particularly within U.S. police K9 units, has yielded measurable improvements in canine performance, health outcomes, and operational effectiveness, demonstrating her commitment to enhancing both pet and human lives through evidence-based nutrition.
