DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR SELF-DOG WASH?
No appointments are needed! We only ask that you have proof of Rabies Vaccination within 3 years (or State Exemption).

WHAT FOOD OR BRAND IS THE BEST FOR MY CAT/DOG?
This is a loaded question, and to be honest, there is no one right answer. Some pets will thrive on one food, while that same food may not agree with another.
There are many types of pet food on the market dry – canned, freeze dried, raw and each of these can be broken down into their own categories. All of these foods offer their own benefits, and can be used independently or in conjunction with another. Deciding amongst these options largely can depend on your pets individual needs, activity level, palate and budget.
When choosing the best food for your pet we recommend a few things:
- Take your animal’s individuality into account – and incorporate some fresh food.
- Utilize a variety of proteins and even brands of food over time. Rotation may help prevent nutrient deficiencies and even prevent food sensitivities.
- Take note of your pet’s response – do they enjoy eating, do they seem hungry often or are they routinely experiencing digestive problems? All of these could be clues that the diet could use attention.
DOES MY PET REALLY NEED A PROBIOTIC OR DIGESTIVE ENZYME?
After generations of feeding processed food, or even fresh food with synthetic vitamins nearly all cats and dogs can benefit from the use of probiotics and digestive enzymes. Keep in mind that not all probiotics or digestive enzymes are created equally – as there are many products on the market for pets that may not be appropriate for use in pets. Ever growing research is showing that these supplements can be helpful for skin sensitivity, coat issues, digestive issues and even some behavioral problems.
Please also be aware that the market has experienced a wide spread counterfeit market for supplements, so we always recommend buying from a small authorized retailer to be sure of quality.
HOW DO I SWITCH MY PET’S FOOD?
Some pets are able to acclimate to a new diet without any distress, while other pets need two or more weeks to adjust. When switching to a new diet we always suggest making diet changes over 10-14 days.
Many times, dogs and cats are subjected to a fast diet change which can result in GI upset and therefore leaves the pet parents believing that the food didn’t agree with their pet. The reality is that most pets should be able to tolerate a diet change, but the lack of diverse gut bacteria (microbiome) is what can cause the negative reaction to a new diet. You may find that utilizing probiotics and/or a raw goat milk are helpful in settling any GI upset. Raw goats milk contains healthy fats, pre and probiotics and other nutrients that help to make transitioning to a new diet less stressful for your pet.
IF I ORDER ONLINE, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
In general, orders placed before 1pm Monday-Friday will be received the next day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will generally be received on Tuesday.
DO YOU OFFER SMALL ANIMAL FOOD & SUPPLIES?
Yes, we offer a wide range of food, treats, toys and supplies for our small friends too! Currently we stock Rabbit, Guinea Pig, Gerbil, Mouse, Rat, Chinchilla & Hamster supplies, including hay. If you are in need of something else just ask!
Please know that we also have multiple resources available to help with the feeding, care and enrichment of small animals!
DO YOU MAKE PET IDENTIFICATION TAGS?
We make Pet ID tags in house – while you shop! We even have plenty of colors, shapes and sizes to choose from.
DO YOU STOCK CHICKEN FEED?
We do stock a range of chicken and game bird feed including starter, grower, cracked and whole corn. We even have organic options!
DO YOU STOCK HORSE OR OTHER FEED?
We do not keep horse feed in stock, however we do receive orders 1-2 times per week and can fill most requests within a few days. If you would like to pick up your feed order from us, just give us a call to place your order!
ARE ALL OF YOUR PET FOODS EXPENSIVE?
Absolutely not! This is certainly one of the biggest misconceptions. We carry a wide array of pet foods in all price ranges and be sure to let our staff know about any budget you may have. We have A LOT of pets ourselves, and if you know any of our staff we always try and be as cost conscious as possible. It is also important to keep in mind that comparing price per pound is one of the most inaccurate ways to gauge cost – as other factors like calories, protein, fat and digestibility all factor into cost of feeding ANY pet food.
