NorthPoint Pets Expansion: What You Need to Know
As you may have heard (or seen behind the wall!), NorthPoint Pets is expanding—and tripling our footprint to bring you more space, more services, and an even better experience. Here’s what you need to know as we head into this exciting new chapter.
When will the expansion be complete?
We’re on track to open our expanded space to you by early July 2025. A grand reopening celebration is also planned for the fall — you won’t want to miss it!
Will the store stay open during construction?
A few days before our official open date, we’ll transition to CURBSIDE service only. This will keep you and your pets safe while we finalize our fixtures and get everything ready to go for the big day!
Until then, you may notice some noise, layout shifts, and probably a little construction dust — but our team is here and ready to help, as always!
What’s changing in the new space?
A lot! Our expansion includes:
- A new and BIGGER entrance
- A dedicated space for dog training classes
- Private, stress-reducing nail trim appointments
- Pet photography that captures your dog’s personality
- More room for you and your pet to shop comfortably
- Easier navigation and better flow
- And yes… a few surprises still under wraps
Why are you expanding now?
We’ve outgrown our current space, and we want to serve you even better. For over ten years, we’ve prioritized education and individualized support over sales gimmicks. This expansion gives us the space to continue doing that, while adding services and experiences that help you make the best decisions for your pet. Want the full story behind our expansion? Will your location or hours change?
Nope — we’re still at 943 S Main Street, Cheshire, and our hours are staying the same. We’re simply knocking down the wall into the former Advance Auto Parts building next door.
Will there be new products?
Yes! With more space comes more room for science-backed, thoughtfully selected products that meet our standards. We’re also using this opportunity to better showcase what we carry — and how it can help your individual pet.
What’s happening for the grand reopening?
We’re planning a celebration in the fall.
