2021 Storefront Retailer of the Year by the Independent Pet Innovation Awards

CHESHIRE, SEPTEMBER 15, 2021– NorthPoint Pets & Company announced today that the company was named the 2021 Storefront Retailer of the Year by the 3rd Annual Independent Pet Innovation Awards. 

NorthPoint Pets was selected from a field of over 1,250 nominees, including other top companies and innovations from across the pet care industry.

Meet Jenna: the new NorthPoint Pets manager!

Jenna enthusiastically joined our team in early 2021 bringing nearly a decade of pet industry knowledge and experience along with her. She is proud mom to cats Aerie and Spook who are both credited with her interest into pet nutrition. Quickly Jenna realized that there was a lot to be desired for honest, unbiased and accurate information within the industry and she knew she wanted to help change that. Much like the team at NPP she believes in the value individualized diet, fresh food and tailored advice can provide for overall health, regardless of age. She also is the mom to 4 sugar gliders, Crumb, Crosby, Bindi and Gatsby which helps bring additional small animal knowledge to our robust team. When she’s not helping pet parents at NPP Jenna can be found hiking with her husband Adam, horseback riding and painting pet portraits.

While 2020 was a trying year, we’re thrilled to still be here supporting you and your pets – a commitment we will continue to have for many years to come. When I founded NPP I never thought it would become what it has today, and we’re all so grateful to all of you who helped us get here. We strive to not be ‘just another pet store’ and instead take an evidence-based approach to the products we sell, recommendations we make and articles we write. While we are huge advocates for fresh food, and integrative approaches, we take pride in fostering an environment where all are welcome, regardless of your feeding philosophy. While this is certainly approach that has drawn criticism from others within the industry (simply because we don’t focus on sales) – we take great pride in doing the right thing and teaching pet parents every chance we get!
